| AB1 Basic
training for beginners (without riding knowledge) |

Understand your horse
and ride in harmony
In this special training for beginners we
will teach you step by step the fundamental
principles of Indian riding and the correct
handling, proper contact and care of horses.
You learn how to touch, groom, saddle and
put on the halter correctly. For us it is
important that the inexperienced rider will
find a natural and scare-free contact with
his four-legged partner, all under professional
tuition and in a relaxed atmosphere. Hence,
within a short period of time you will gain
security and confidence with the horse.
You will have your first riding experiences
with playful exercises on the ground and
in the saddle. You will practice clear
leading, learn the first "words" of
the mysterious horse language and observe
signals
which horses use for communication.´
Furthermore your balance and feeling for
your horse will be developed rapidly so that
by the end of the training you will be able
to handle all gaits - walking, trotting and
cantering. You will expand your knowledge
quickly with our explanations, video analysis,
movies and theoretical background. You will
know what it means to ride in harmony and
to be in accordance with your horse. You
can apply your knowledge on two
marvellous trails in the beautiful mountains and scenery
of Northern Tenerife during the second training
week.

This
training week is designed for advanced
riders (no matter which riding style
they have practised before), a great

riding style.
You will learn how a horse is acting
and why natural behaviour and knowledge

Would you like to understand the horse’s
language? What do terms such as dominance,
consistency and clear instruction mean
and how can you put them into action?
These and other important questions will
be discussed in our course and practiced
in our riding school.
During the advanced training week you
will learn how to lead your horse consistently
and how to ride it harmoniously. You
will practice on the ground and in the
saddle with our well-trained horses.
With playful exercises you will easily
learn how to handle horses.
Professional theoretical and practical

Horseriding
for the over-50s… It’s never too late
to learn to ride! |
|
| |
Was
learning to ride a horse your childhood dream?
Would you like to learn how to horsewhisper?
Then now is the time to make your dream come
true. The oldest beginner we have taught
to ride was 68, and Markus’s grandmother
first sat in the saddle at 80!
Take advantage of our years of experience and
enjoy an unforgettable holiday on the island
of eternal spring.
Our horse-riding courses are adapted to all
your needs. You will learn everything about
the horse’s nature step-by-step, both
the theory and the practice. From day one you
will learn how you should approach a horse,
how to put on the halter, how to clean it and
brush it, how to handle it correctly and, of
course, you will learn to ride properly. You
will soon feel at home in the comfortable cowboy
saddle.
Learning to ride will be a great source of
happiness and pleasure to you under the instruction
of Stefanie Hymer, qualified sports therapist
and horseriding teacher, Andrea Eschbach-Kindler,
qualified physiotherapist and horseriding teacher
and Markus Eschbach-Kindler, qualified social
worker and qualified Rai horseriding teacher
We would be only too happy to answer any queries
and receive any requests you may have and,
if you are a little nervous, don’t worry,
we will be patient with you.
You will be surprised how quickly and well
you will take to riding. We can also teach
you to ride and even gallop with nothing but
a lasso around the horse’s neck.
Our classes include fun games that will test
your skill and help you relax. With the help
of video analysis we can help you to identify
and correct errors more easily. We teach you
the tricks and secrets of horse whisperers.
You will learn the principles of this special
job and how to communicate with the horse in
the Round Pen. We also offer intensive training
courses on this subject (with us at the FINCA
VERDE or abroad). By day five you will already
feel secure in the saddle and you’ll
be able to enjoy a full day’s excursion
in the saddle accompanied by our instructors.

We take a maximum of 5 persons per course
so we can guarantee that the horseriding
teacher can give you the attention you
need to quickly master and consolidate
your horseriding skills.
If you are planning to buy a horse sometime in the future you have come to the
right people. Over our course we will teach you the principles of the natural
relationship between man and horse and give you advice and hints about how to
maintain this natural relationship.
You can reserve your place on this training course for one or two weeks. During
the second week we go into what we have taught in more depth and organise two
or three horseriding excursions. |

|
| |
|
|
|
| |
About the course: |
We learn the basic principles
of horse language and discover how communication
works between horses and humans. This will be achieved
by observing and interpreting the horses’ signals
and by training awareness and efficient use of
our own body language in the dialogue with horses.
The “round pen”, a small enclosed arena,
serves us as classroom in which we can safely work
with the horses and practise our communication
skills. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
Who can participate: |
Participants do not
need any kind of riding knowledge, and no prior
knowledge or experience about work in the round
pen or other „natural horsemanship“ is
required. At the same time horsewomen/men who have
practised some “natural horsemanship communication“ before
will equally benefit. |
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
Ablauf: |
2 days of theory and practical training.
2 days round pen work, 10.00 - 13.00 hrs. and 14.00

About the course: |
We approach the horse from the ground.
With various exercises inspired by Pat Parelli
and Heinz Welz we create a trustful basis for our
encounter with the horse. Exercises of trust, establishing
a respectful relationship, learning to cease to
any kind of pressure, sovereign leadership, being
led, and other exercises help us to come to a deeper
understanding between horse and human. This way
we create a strong basis for riding the horse. |
