Have you always dreamed of experiencing the „wild
west“ and enjoying untamed nature? Then we invite
you to take part in our unique volcano trekking program
leading us to the foot of the volcano Mt. Teide. Tenerife
offers you over 2000 km_ of the most varied forms of
landscapes, waiting for you to explore them on horseback.
Your dreams will come true when we roam the breath-taking
landscape of the famous National Park “Las Cañadas”.
The trek demands stamina and confidence on horseback
as we will be riding up to 8 hours a day. In total
we will cover 180 km.
All participants will receive saddle bags to carry
their picnic, cameras, rain and wind jackets, sun lotion,
etc. Every evening a jeep will bring your luggage,
the tents (which we will set up together) and a warm
dinner prepared at FINCA VERDE. After an adventurous
day enjoy a satisfying meal in a comfortable atmosphere
(tables and chairs provide us with the necessary comfort).
All three camps offer WC and washing facilities.
Our volcano trekking is an insider’s tip for
all those in search of an exceptional adventure. It
will be an unforgettable experience as you enjoy your
life on horseback, with nature all around!
This program strives to present the fundamentals of
overland horse riding in condensed form.
