Our
goal is to explain the horses’ needs
to humans.
Our vision is a better world for the horses.
We help you to better understand horses and to
build up a harmonious relationship with them.
We shall be happy to welcome you at Finca Verde
or to one of our courses and clinics in Europe.

Eschbach-Kindler, born 1968 |

 |
Social education
worker, riding teacher, horse trainer.
Markus Eschbach (* 1968) has spent half his
life on horseback. In the 1980s he started
with therapeutic riding, working with handicapped
children. Later he
met Fred Rai whose horse-oriented way of working and riding impressed him deeply.
He joined Fred’s training centre to become a riding teacher for Natural
Bitless Riding and a horse trainer according to Fred Rai.
After having entered into the world of Bitless riding and horsemanship, he went
on learning from famous horse trainers like GaWaNi Pony Boy (USA) and Heinz Welz
(Germany). His ongoing efforts and learning led him to develop what he calls
Indian Riding, merging the different influences he received from all his teachers
with his own experience. |

In 1998 he established the
riding centre for Indian Riding at Finca
Verde, Tenerife, Spain. There he and his
wife Andrea offer courses for beginners and
advanced
riders in Indian Riding and natural horsemanship. In response to demand,
Markus and Andrea started to hold clinics
in various places all over Western Europe.
In his clinics, people can bring their problematic horses in order to
re-establish
a solid communication with them. Markus has the ability to point out
the weaknesses to horse-owners within one
weekend, showing them new ways to communicate
and
work with their horses and bring back harmony to their relationship.
Since November 2006 he lives with his wife Andrea and his family in Switzerland.
There he holds courses and clinics. Apart from that he travels to Tenerife several
times a year to impart courses at FINCA VERDE.

| Andrea
Eschbach-Kindler, born 1971 |
|
 |
|
Physiotherapist, riding teacher, horse
trainer.
Andrea (*1971) has virtually spent almost
all her life on horseback. She received
a classical English style training for
dressage and jumping. During her teenage
years she switched to Western riding and
practiced it for several years.
Then she learned about the Rai-method,
a gentle way of riding horses with Bitless
halters, especially developed to work with “difficult” horses.
She immediately changed her riding style
applying this new method.
Searching refinement in her work with horses
she visited courses with GaWaNi Pony Boy
and Heinz Welz. She also completed the
basic and advanced course of TTeam-work
(© by Linda Tellington-Jones) in Switzerland.
Since 1999 she manages the riding centre
for Indian Riding at Finca Verde together
with her husband Markus. She is holding
clinics in England, the Netherlands, Switzerland
and Germany.

Schweder, born 1981 |

Tour guide, riding teacher,
horse trainer
Lena started to ride when she was 8 years old.
Three and a half years ago she decided to dedicate
herself completely to the world of horses and
riding. She started working with a dressage
stable.
In order to gain more experience she spent
the following years all over Europe: In Spain,
Belgium, Greece and Portugal she was working
with several stables where she took care of
the horses, broke in young horses, guided trails
and learned a lot.
Among others she studied round pen work, TTouch
according to Linda Tellington-Jones, horse
osteopathy, and work with passoa reins. At
the same time she went on riding dressage and
show jumping and gave riding classes to children.
When she learned about Natural Horsemanship
and Indian Riding, she was amazed of the results
and the different treat with horses and switched
to this natural riding style immediately. Today
she teaches riding, round pen work and ground
work at FINCA VERDE and guides our trails. |

| Nina
Abel, born 1984 |
|
 |
|
| Tour guide, riding teacher,
horse trainer
Nina grew up in a horse loving family and
learned to ride as a little child. She always
had her own horse. This way she learned early
to work and treat with horses. At the beginning
she was riding English dressage with her
pony.
During the last few years Nina was working
at her grandparents’ stable in the
north of Germany during the summer season.
Furthermore she trained young horses in her
brother-in-law’s breeding stable. After
that she made her first experiences abroad
in a private dressage stable in Andalucia/Spain,
where she was training horses.
Nina, too, was enthused when she first came
in touch with Indian Riding and the Bitless
halter. She is a riding teacher at FINCA
VERDE and guides the trails. |

enjoy being the focus of everybody’s attention.
I am the most beautiful of all, am I not?
I love to move and to be ridden with a neck ring.
I like it when the rider gives clear aids.

It’s easy to ride me without a halter.

though.

That’s how you call me then. Maybe because
I seemingly never get tired?
I am fascinated by everything new to me and have
to take a close look at it. This is also true if
this new thing is a human being.
Riders, especially the girls, love me!
That’s
all right with me… |

I love humans. Not only kids love me, too.
As a Taurus I like it calm, good food and a good
race from time to time (which of course I almost
always win!)
Because I am so even-tempered, I am employed to
carry disabled humans on my back. They call it
therapeutic riding. |
